Site change 2015

That's right: I've changed the look of the site. I'm hoping you find it easy to navigate. But the changes are not just cosmetic; there has been a lengthy review of code, and so there's been a LOT of writing things from scratch. Luckily I have improved my PHP skills over the last fifteen years!

I've put in some work into a new search function, which pulls in pages from the Rambles, gigs and the microblog: I've also begun the process of categorising the articles, so you can search by word or "tag".

The sign-in page now works for OpenID accounts again [I only noticed it was broken when reviewing the code], and most of the pages have pictures now, to help those of you that need pictures whilst you're reading [yes, this has been said to me: I was listening!].

Some things have gone; the links pages have been retired until I can think of a better way to do it. The microblog [which is the source of what I post on Twitter] will be gone until I've finished the code for that; everything will be grouped by day like a diary, and there will be no permalinks to separate statuses. Oh, and I promise to send out a mailing list e-mail VERY soon.

Let me know what you think of the site. I've done some testing on mobiles and it seems to work well, but if you have problems with it just send me a message!
