RDFa to iCalendar service

Following on from my piece about timelines, I wrote a script that will scrape a web page for RDF Attributes describing a calendar and transform it into a iCal file, which can then be used in an calendaring application like Outlook or Sunbird.

There are some small points:

Seriously, the web-page has to be well-formed, otherwise the XSLT processor gets upset.

The XSL only copes with a couple of ways of expressing the data—either like this, or as in one of the timeline pages I made a few days ago.

The service now extracts fragments from pages.

So a URL like http://www.coreymwamba.co.uk/testbed/caltest2.html#gig will only extract the portion of the page with an id of gig.

If you use the service as a link, you'll have to encode the URL: so for this link the URL is written as http%3a%2f%2fwww.coreymwamba.co.uk%2ftestbed%2fcaltest2.html%23gig.
