The premise of DOME is to help music makers develop new things. So everyone working in DOME has to take responsibility for showing proper respect for the work and musicians. This shouldn't be a heavy-handed thing, and many things need discussing rather than immediately laying down.

The only exceptions to this are:

1. DOME is located in Derby so there has to be a primary focus on Derby and Derbyshire artists, but we will welcome artists from other regions;
2. it isn't a jam session - it's about bringing new ideas to be rehearsed workshop-style, and then performed; and
3. the genre of music doesn't matter as long as it's technically possible to present it - but it must be new, original work: which excludes covers and arrangements.
