What a great night on Friday. Michelson Morley were incredible! Looking forward to Liverpool and Sheffield...

Today is all about Luther Vandross slow jams.

The power to make a performance to thousands feel like entirely personal. Vandross was a legend.

Another slow [well, slow-to-medium] jam, but this time from Herbie Hancock.

The sound and video are out of sync, but still worth it! Teddy Pendergrass...

Took a bit of a tumble onto the train, but on my way to Liverpool!

Safely ensconced in Frederiks, Liverpool. The hill was not so bad!

Frederiks was great! Had a really good time, and such a lovely place! Michelson Morley and I are off to Sheffield today. Catch you later!

Pint of Moonshine at The Lescar. Grey clouds, bright sun.

Had such a great time with the Michelson Morley crew in Liverpool and Sheffield... Catch them when you can!

Today is all about the essay: but soon it'll all be about Derby, Dave Kane and Joshua Blackmore...

Just read that Chris Hodgkins is retiring from Jazz Services. I hope he has a wonderful time after all his hard work over the years...

Today: more Facebook API testing. Currently seeing if I can successfully tag profiles, like the trio... Could take some time, so apologies in advance!

New gig: with Cath Roberts and Olie Brice—https://www.coreymwamba.co.uk/gig/general-1402605000

New gig: Arun Ghosh's Spitalfields Suite—https://www.coreymwamba.co.uk/gig/arun-1402164000

SO MUCH FUN with the trio yesterday. Thanks to Derby Jazz for putting us on, and everyone who came along or spread the word!

If you were at the gig with Dave Kane and Joshua Blackmore yesterday, get in touch, either by e-mail or by private message...

Out with Nick Malcolm today, until Friday! London, Bournemouth, Monmouth and Bristol... here we go!

Bournemouth with Nick Malcolm was lovely! Caught up with Deborah Jordan too. Off to Monmouth today... catch you there!

Monmouth! Heading your way with Nick Malcolm, to The Queens Head. Hope to see you!

Bristol! Playing at Colston Hall at 6.15 tonight with Nick Malcolm's quartet. See you there, I hope!

Well, Bristol was my last one: but make sure you catch Nick Malcolm's quartet tour in the next week or so... Seriously good

Nick Malcolm's playing on the tour has been consistently on another level!

Didn't think I'd make it to the station on time: but it looks like the exercise is paying off! See you soon, London.

Thanks to everyone who came to Jazz in The Round last night... it was a blast! Cello bow replacement this week though...

New music from me, Dave Kane and Joshua Blackmore! Crunchy recording from Derby.
