How can I help?

  1. Turn up

    The best support you can give is to come to the performances. It'd be really comforting for me and the musicians if you paid in advance (which you can do on-line): but simply, this will not work and it will die if no one comes and gives the event some support.

  2. Spread the word!

    If you're on Facebook, like the page!

    If you're on Twitter please follow @OneNoteSunday

    If you have a printer, head to the Dates page. Each artist name is a link to a page with just that gig; and on that page there are links to PDF and JPEG forms of a poster for you to print and display!

    If you have a site, here's rudimentary code for an HTML badge: just copy and paste the text below into your HTML.

    <object
    data="http://www.coreymwamba.co.uk/widgets/
    onenotebadge.html"
    type="text/html"
    style="width: 140px; height: 140px;
    padding: 10px; overflow: hidden;">
    </object>

    It looks like this:

    If you come to a night and enjoy it, please write about it - no matter how short. And most importantly get your friends to come - the night will not exist or continue without people!

  3. Give a musician a room for the night

    Although Derby has some of the best public transport links for getting here in the country, leaving it at night is nigh impossible.

    If you offer up a spare room for a musician that would be really supportive, and if your offer is taken up you (one person per household) will get in for free.

But the most important thing is to turn up and support live, interesting music.
